Gabriel Griffith

Veterans Disability and Social Security Disability Attorney

As an associate at Rankin & Gregory, LLC, Gabriel W. Griffith concentrates his practice on veterans’ benefits and social security disability.

Gabe was born in Montgomery County and grew up in the Greater Philadelphia area. Even at a young age, Gabe believed it was important to help others in their time of need. Before turning 18, Gabe had already participated in two mission trips with his church and had performed various volunteer-work on several occasions. After graduating high school, Gabe attended the Pennsylvania State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in international politics and a minor in history.

Following undergrad, Gabe attended Widener University Delaware Law School. While in law school, Gabe took a very hands-on approach to learning. He served as a Certified Legal Intern for both his school’s Criminal Defense Clinic and the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office. Throughout all stages of Gabe’s law school career, his work involved the representation of indigent clients.

Gabe also became heavily involved with his school’s Veterans Law Clinic. Gabe performed legal research, provided analyses on a wide variety of legal issues related to disability claims, and constantly worked one-on-one with clients. One of Gabe’s noted achievements there was earning the clinic’s highest ever EAJA fee award for a client’s representation at the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

It was at this time that Gabe also became interested in devoting a large part of his career to assisting veterans. At the clinic, Gabe witnessed the struggles that veterans had when dealing with Veterans Affairs. He believes that there is something fundamentally wrong with a system that denies benefits to those who have had life affecting injuries from service. Gabe prides himself on being able to assist veterans as he believes it is his opportunity to give back to those who have offered to sacrifice everything for us.

Since moving to Lancaster, Gabe has become increasingly involved with the community. For example, Gabe served as a scoring judge for the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Mock Trial competition, where high school students in Lancaster County had the opportunity to present a case before a judge and jury.

When Gabe has free time, he enjoys watching sporting events (such as college football and soccer), attending live music events, reading, and spending time with his friends and family.

Gabe helps veterans and the disabled obtain the benefits they deserve through his zealous advocacy. To Gabe, a denial of entitled benefits is a wrong that must be righted. If you have been denied benefits, call us at 717-406-3216. Consultations are free and you won’t pay unless Rankin & Gregory wins your claim.
